They encompass a tremendous historical legacy, from the transformation of New York City's lands settled by American Indians to today’s astonishing forest of skyscrapers and the raising of this ultra-modern behemoth from the ruins of the original World Trade Center that was destroyed in a violent attack by foreign militants on "09/11", an event that is still swirling in controversial theories yet has changed the world political landscape perhaps for the next 100 years.
